German Association of Law and Informatics

HanseEscrow has been a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Recht und Informatik e.V. since 2007

The “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Recht und Informatik e.V.” (German Association of Law and Informatics, or DGRI for short) addresses issues in which informatics and computer technology overlap on the one hand and law and business overlap on the other hand.

The objective of DGRI is to promote the interaction between academia, research and practical application in the following areas:

  • legal issues relating to the processing of information,
  • the use of information technology within the legal system, and
  • creation of the legal context regarding information technology.

Hanse Escrow is on the Expert Committee on Software Protection. This committee helps to optimally achieve the security goals of software manufacturers, sellers and users.
